While taking a break to put on a bandaid (actually electrical tape and paper towel per marine electrician SOP) I though I would post.
I have been working through a series of electrical and electronics refits on my 47-37 I bought in October. I have cut and replaced many hundreds of these which all look about like the image here. I sincerely hope that someone has trained the yard on the concept of flush cutters and their proper use since 2010 so they are not leaving these DNA collection devices all over the boat.
I would literally demote a technician to closely supervised apprentice for leaving a project full of these. A pro just does not do this.
