The Hullshield folks have approached me with a proposal to outfit 6047 with their ultrasonic anti-fouling equipment. They want the transducers installed at the factory and some wire pulled, and will complete the job in the USA during commissioning. They want to do business with Selene and want to use our boat as an introduction. This technology has been around for a while and they state their product is now more robust than prior versions.
Any thoughts or opinions? I scrubbed the bottom of 5388 for 15 years myself with scuba gear and would love to avoid some of that and also avoid scrubbing off the ablative bottom paint I prefer to use.
