I believe our new Selene Ocean Explorer 60 Shangri-La is going to be delivered, likely to the PNW, in the June - July ‘26 time frame. We plan to load a U-Haul truck with all our boat stuff (motorcycle included) and drive cross country to meet her for offloading and commissioning, probably making us unavailable to personally host the ‘26 Summer Rendezvous near our home on the Potomac River. We are happy to stay involved and help with planning - we know the folks at Saint Mary’s College of Maryland, Chesapeake Orchestra and Olverson’s marina and can coordinate with them. However, whether we can fly back to attend or not is uncertain at this time as we may be neck deep in commissioning. We will try. So, I am looking for folks to co-host the event. If we plan basically the same program as ‘25 it will be a fairly smooth process. I am happy to stay involved. We just need a leader to herd the cats (or monohulls) when the time comes.
