Happy Thanksgiving from the Northern neck!
Early this morning I put a 15 pound bird on the smoker and went out chasing rockfish in our center console, WASABI. Turned out to be mostly a bird watching expedition. Pretty early morning light and gorgeous sky. Nice boat ride.
Then returned home, put WASABI on her lift, checked the bird and it was smokin’ just right, so I took a cruise on new ride La La La around some of our local country roads. Drove by a couple wineries, the Bevans Oyster Company, past Old Yeocomico Church where George Washington was baptized, and back down our lane, Skipjack Road, where George’s mother grew up down the street from our place. Then I had to take a couple pics on new Scrambler La La La with the ghost of Shangri-La past making a guest appearance riding two up with me. Couldn’t resist (I can resist anything, except temptation).
